Reservation Questions

Is there a specific age group to travel with Living My Life Like Its Golden Travel Movement on hosted trips?

Yes, the minimum age is 30. Our international travel packages are designed for professional adults who love to travel, with other mature, like minded professionals.

What is a hosted trip?

A hosted trip is a package curated by Living My Life Like Its Golden Travel Movement that comes with an on site host during the trip to ensure every aspect of the trip is attended to.

Is there a specific age group required when Golden Life Travel is planning private trips for groups?

No, if it’s your private group of 8 or more, you are welcome to vacation with the age group of your choice.

Can I make reservations for a trip after the initial payments have started?

Yes, you can make a reservation as long as the booking portal is open. You’re required to make a deposit and then monthly payments as specified in the payment plan until the trip is paid in full.

What’s included in the destination pricing?

Our prices are based on a single standard of double room occupancy. Once you click on your destination of choice, all of the inclusions and exclusions will be listed. You can contact us for any additional information.

What is the difference between land only and air-and-land accommodations?

Air & Land option includes your roundtrip airfare and all trip accommodations. The land-only option includes all trip accommodations and excludes roundtrip airfare. with the land only option, you are also responsible for your roundtrip ground transfers to our hotel on arrival and departure dates

Flight Questions

What happens if I miss my flight, and I arrive later than the group?

If you arrive after the first day, you might miss the first day with our group. You will not be refunded for that part you missed; however, you will still be able to catch up once you arrive with the remainder of the tour. If you have travel insurance, you can execute your options under missed flights and delays.

How soon, prior to departure, do you provide us with electronic tickets?

Tickets will be provided 15–21 days prior to departure.

How many bags am I allowed to bring with me for group travel?

Golden Life Travel rules: One carry-on OR checked luggage and a personal item. This means we are asking that you pack wisely. Outside of the space available on the airplane, we need to ensure that we can accommodate our entire group’s luggage on our transportation.

 What happens if my flight is delayed or cancelled by the airline, and I miss the group flight?

Travel protection is highly recommended for unforeseen events such as this. Golden Life Travel is not responsible for airline schedule changes, flight cancellations, or airline delays due to weather, mechanical requirements, or any other reasons. We are not responsible for costs, if any, associated with rebooking a new flight to meet the group at our final destination.

Passport Questions

Do I need a passport?

International destinations require a US passport valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel dates. Non-US citizens need to contact the consulate for the country they are visiting to determine entry requirements. It is the responsibility of the traveler to verify and obtain all necessary documentation needed for your trip. Further, any minors traveling without both legal parents or guardians need to travel with a notarized letter of consent.

Can I book a trip If I have applied for my passport, but haven’t received it?

Yes. You might be able to reserve your slot without your passport depending on the trips departure timeline. You must have a valid passport number in hand before you arrive at the airport.

We will verify this information 60-90 days prior to departure, so we ask that you begin working on your passport application shortly after you reserve your slot, and use the 3 week expedited process to ensure your passport is processed and received timely.

Payment Questions

What payments do you accept?

We accept credit card authorization forms and online payments.

Do you provide refunds?

Because of contractual agreements, we do not provide refunds, nor do we transfer money. Each client is required to accept our Terms and Conditions before reservation is accepted. To protect your investment, each client is encouraged to purchase travel insurance.

Do I have to make monthly payments?

Payments should be made each month. If you are unable to make a payment, please send us an email. If you fail to make a payment for 60 days without any communication to us, your reservations will automatically cancel.

What is automatic billing?

Automatic billing is used to pay the entire remaining balance of your reservation using automatic billing. This can be done with one credit card to cover the entire balance of your reservation.

Will Living My Life Like Its Golden Travel Movement remind me before the payment is due?

Yes, you will receive an email reminder prior to the due date. However it remains your responsibility to ensure payments are made like any other agreement.

How many payments will I have and when will they be due?

Payments will be monthly on or about the same day of the month you made your initial payment. The number of payments is based on the number of months remaining from the time you book to the final payment due date.

You will see your exact payment plan, amount, and due dates upon making your reservation. The earlier you book, the more time you have to pay over time which is a benefit for international travelers.

In Destination Tours Questions

How long do the daily group tours normally last?

Bring good quality walking shoes and snacks for the bus! We pride ourselves in providing an authentic experience around the country or city that you will be visiting. Most tours are usually half-day tours, while others can last a full day. Our team will always share this information with you in advancer so that you know how to dress for the day.

Is there a set time for tours and how important is it to be on time?

Yes. There will be a set time for group tours. It’s paramount to be on time as requested. We will always share the departure time for the following day the night before, so that you know exactly how to prepare.

Once the times are shared for breakfast and the morning departure time, we expect for you to comply with the schedule. If you are not ready to depart on time, you will be responsible for finding transportation to meet the group. You will not be refunded for your transportation fee, so we highly recommend compliance with the stated departure time.

Travel Insurance Questions

What is Travel Insurance?

Travel insurance is a purchased plan designed to protect you from unforeseen events while traveling such as trip delays, lost/damaged baggage, or medical emergencies. There are a myriad of insurance plans and you will decide the appropriate coverage based on your needs.

Is travel insurance required?

It may not be required for most trips, however it is strongly recommended

What happens if I am rude or unpleasant to fellow travelers or the group leader?

Golden Life Travel prides ourselves in having a fun, immersive, and inclusive trips for all to enjoy.We reserve the right to accept, reject or expel any person(s) deemed disruptive or incompatible with the interests of the group, including, but not limited to: person(s) who are intoxicated and/or under the influence of drugs, involved in physical and verbal altercations and lacks decency and respect for others.Any traveler released from a trip will incur the cost of any cancellation fees and/or costs for alternate travel plans to return home. All unused services are non-refundable.
